Corporate Writing Experience

Over the years, I have worked as a writer and editor for multiple clients, and have provided valuable services in not just writing, but also web development and social media. Here are three of my most recent clients:

Midtown Athletic

Throughout the summer of 2019, I wrote and edited more than 800 biographies of trainers and personnel at Midtown Athletic, an international athletic corporation. The work entailed coordinating my biographies with Midtown’s brand strategy manager to ensure the tone and structure enhanced the company’s appeal.

Nea Maya Construction

As a writing consultant for Nea Maya – a local homebuilder and developer – I performed numerous tasks, including:

  • Spearheading development of a cohesive brand through social media strategies on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

  • Creating new Squarespace websites, including: a new website for the company, and a custom website for the firm’s latest development (websites included photographs and new marketing copy).

  • Creating custom marketing materials for company’s new construction projects, including flyers and brochures.

  • Assisting in materials for the company’s county presentations for new construction permits, which entailed studying maps and zoning codes.

Fautus

As one of Fautus’ first hires, I created the public voice and branding materials for the company, which was produced a photography application for smartphones that was, essentially, Uber for professional photographers.

In that capacity, I wrote numerous copy, including: naming of application features; copy for the app, as seen by users; detailed FAQs; biographies of all employees; website editorials; marketing materials for social media; press releases; and copy for video.

As part of that process, I also conducted detailed interviews with the founder, Luis Almaraz, about company’s vision, mission, and brand, and then crafted writing to reflect that.
